Which one is better for a guy who hunts: Digital Camera Binoculars or Binoculars with a built in Range Finder?

I am trying to get a gift for my BF for our 2 year anniversary. He LOVES to hunt and I did not know which one would be more useful to an avid outdoorsman….
1.) Binoculars with a built in digital camera
2.) Binoculars with a built in range finder
If he wants to show you what he has seen, go with the camera. I however, would prefer the range finder, it would help put meat on the table.

If he’s already got a digital camera, get the binocular with the range finder, and if he has a range finder, get the binocular with the camera. If he has neither, the range finder would probably be more useful IF he doesn’t hunt in thick woods. Not much use for ranging there unless he bowhunts.
I would say get him a nice card and put a gift certicate in it that will cover the cost and write in the card I could not decide which one to get so I thought I would leave it up to you to decide…….
Binoculars with a built in range finder is my preference.
I would say get the Bino’s w/camera, only cuz most people are not as happy with range finding bino’s that only work half the time. To about half the range they say they’re good for. (reflective) That way you or anyone will also get to see what wild life he also see’s.

I would say neither. But if you have to choose between the two, I’d go with the range finder.
I’ve seen almost all the bino/camera combo’s out there, I spent a very long time looking for a new bino. They’re all very very bad, they’re bad binos and bad cameras. The image through the lens is very dim, optics is usually very bad. This is because, the ones that I tried anyway, was of a roof design. There’s nothing worse than a poorly built roof bino. There’s no phase correction, there’s no coating on the lenses, so the images come out rather soft on the edges.
Binoculars with the rangefinder hands down. I have the binos with the camera and they are overrated. You can never go wrong with great optics. He will love you forever!
If he bow hunts then #2 is definately, but if he gun hunts then #1 would probably be cooler, but either would be great.
