The magnification would be the product of the individual magnifications. 2 pair of 7×50 binocs would become one pair of 49×50. The image would be 7x less bright. You would need to align them perfectly and block out the light coming in the second pair from the sides. Actually, this cannot be done with binoculars unless the distance between the objective lenses is the same as between the ocular lenses. Another drawback is that the field of view would be 7x narrower. Also, the optical quality would suffer from doubling the number of optical elements.

I don’t think it would do anything – the first pair of binoculars would produce a virtual image, the second pair wouldn’t be able to “see” it.

Jonal’s right about the real image – I’ve done solar projection enough times that I should know better :-(

You can certainly use binoculars in the way you describe, but it would be a pretty awful image….without the pretty.
It will also be a very narrow field of view going that way about it.
You would do a lot better by getting a telescope instead of binoculars.
The image you see through binoculars is a virtual image.
The exit pupil of the eyepiece however transmits a real image, not a virtual one.
It can be focused onto a piece of white card as you can see for yourself by doing it.
Using a telescope eyepiece in the same way to get pictures on a film or an image of the Sun on a piece of white card to see the sunspots is called eyepiece projection.

EDIT…Haha, no offence Iridium flare fan, we’ve all been there. Many times.
    Enjoy the skies.
