What type of binocculars to take a picture through?

I have a decent little camera, but it doesn’t have much of a zoom. I’d like to cheat once in a while by taking a picture through a pair of binoculars. I’ve done this before with a little success so I know it can be done. I have a Fujifilm Finepix F10. What is the minimum exit pupil I would need in a pair of binoculars so that a picture takes the whole field of view? I don’t just want a circular image.

  1. Bladerunner (Dave) says:

The main problem is that you will increase the focal length of the lens and you may not get enough light through to the CCD.
Have a look at this site.
