on two occasions i have had expensive goods pinched from my car, i know who the thief is as it always happens when she goes out with my wife on tuesdays i do not have the proof. i have asked my wife to be more vigilant when out with this person but it always creates an argument as my wife does not beleive she would do such a thing!! today a pair of nikon binoculars have been removed, but short of stopping my wife using the car or emptying it of all my property before she goes out i cant see how i can prove its her . so i am sat now thinking revenge anybody got some ideas!!!!!!!
Why is your wife taking up for her friend over you? If my husband suggested this, I would take the necessary precautions without telling my friend I knew. I might let what she took already slide, but nothing else!
Take your stuff out of the car. It can’t be stolen if it isn’t there.
I don’t think there is anything you can do. It would be easier to remove the items you don’t want stolen from your car & cheaper the buying spy cameras
Where does your wife think the things are going?
I think that her friend is the least of your problems.. Have a long talk to your wife about trust..
Then tell to leave her best ear rings in the car on her next outing with ” fingers.” That would be interesting..
Why are you leaving expensive binoculars in the car? Unless you’re hiding it, that’s asking to be stolen anyway.
Buy a backpack and keep your valuables you just have to have with you in it. Just remember to take it out on Tuesdays…
You may have to lose another piece of property for this to work, but I would try it: Plant something you know the person will steal and stick a note to it that says “I know you’ve been taking my things, (person’s name)”. this should freak her out enough to make her stop. just make sure your wife doesn’t see it, because she may remove the note if she thinks her friend is innocent.
