What do manmade satellites look like through binoculars or a telescope?

I have been using the heavens above site to see when the Hubble, the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station will be visible from my location. Unfortunatly we have had a couple of days of clouds.

I would like to start birdwatching and am unsure of which binoculars to buy?

I finally have some free time this spring to take up birdwatching, and would like to purchase a pair of binoculars. Any recommendations on magnification / brands etc…? Looking to spend under $150.00. Thanks

What manufacturer would you recommend if I would like to buy binoculars?

I want to have binoculars to view the stars. Or would it be better to have a telescope instead? I’m just a beginner and would there be a telescope or binoculars less than $100 or 200?

Is using a DSLR camera with lens just like using binoculars?

I use binoculars all the time – birdwatching, wildlife watching, and stargazing. I know how to adjust focus and all that. Is DSLR the same thing? I’ve never tried using one before.

I mean a binocular with a zoom and distance meter, etc.
