@jamieball electronics are simply to find stars… They’re not nessesary, but they are cool.

Actually, with Celestron Sky Align you only need to point to 3 bright objects and it aligns. You don’t need to know their names.

Isn’t it worse to have to rely on electronics to use the scope?.. can you still use the mount without electric power??
