Has anyone ever used Simmon’s Binoculars, perticularly the Master Series model?

If so what did you think. I am looking for a good cheap ($150 or less pair of 8×42) binoculars for deer hunting. I like the look of the Simmon’s Master series, but have never owned anything Simmons. I know they are owned by Bushnell. If you have any feedback or binocular suggestions, I welcome them. Thanks

I own a pair of cheap Simmons compact (pocket style) binoculars that I use when I go hiking in the summer. I bought them on a closeout sale for about $20 from Kmart (usually cost $60) and they seem to be just fine.

Personally, when it comes to binoculars, I always buy the cheap ones; Simmons, Bushnell, Sears. This way if I set them down at my deer stand and happen to forget about them, I will not be trying to retrieve them in the middle of the night with a flashligh, after having realized my mistake. Or, if someone at deer camp wants to borrow my binoculars…it’s like, “Sure!”.

On the other hand, when it comes to rifle optics, I only buy and use the best – Leupold.

Never used Simmons but I have used Bushnells, not my favorite optics manufacturer. Check out Nikon, they make a pretty decent pair of Binos for less than 150 bucks. I prefer 10×50 though they are a bit larger.
