Elvis Broke Our Daddy’s Binoculars (Orig)

This song was inspired by my husband’s two aunts. For those of you who write songs, you know how valuable our spouse’s relatives can be in the song writing process. Ha Ha .They did go see Elvis in 1971. (I did embellish a little on the story!) Hope you like. T:)

Ha Ha…..I know what you mean about the Elvis frenzy!! Oh…I like Buddy Holly too…”Love it Real and Not Fade Away…bop bop bop bop!! ” t:)

Great tune — funny story. I never could see the out of control antics of women over Elvis — he was a great performer but his domestic relations didn’t lost too long — but the same thing happened with the Beetles (<:

Me — I was a Buddy Holly fan — no offense to Elvis.

Well, actually, it’s ‘71 by your song, but it’s not far removed from the 60’s. :)

Great performance as always T, and I love your lyrics! You paint a cool picture of the 60’s and you and your daddy’s experiences…and I love your hook, “Elvis Broke Daddy’s Binoculars.”

    Five stars. :)
