I want mine for astronomical purposes, not closeup. If anyone can tell me which one is better, or recommend a different pair, please do so. Keep it under 100 dollars.

Earlier, as I sat here at my computer looking out the window, I saw a black babe walking down the sidewalk. She was really hot. About 5′6″ 120 pounds. Cute face. You know the type. In fact, she was so hot I rushed to get my camcorder which has a telephoto lens.
Then a while later an Asian babe came strolling by. I thought, Oh man, is she ever SCORCHING. I already had my camcorder going so I rushed to find my high-powered binoculars.
Then, a short time later, a white babe came trekking by. Like the other two, she was so hot I started to sweat. Anyway, I couldn’t decide which babe of the three was the hottest. I’ll probably have to review them all on the video. Even then I might have to call over a few friends so we can vote on it. Anyway, is all my indecision mean there’s something wrong with me?

For a long time, the chip market has been Europe and the United States, Japan and Korea manufacturers the world, then, China Taiwan semiconductor industry to catch up under the region also have a territory, while the mainland manufacturers should not only look for fleeting market opportunity, but also efforts to develop its own core competencies, you can say that the Chinese mainland manufacturers in this heavily surrounded difficult. However, with the increasing domestic market demand and technology is rapidly increasing, “China’s core” started to show a strong potential for development. Particularly in the last two years, China’s semiconductor integrated circuit industry is good news continued for the “Chinese core” set to become the world’s top brands to lay a solid foundation. In the Ministry of Information Industry Electronic Information Products Division, supported by the Ministry of Information Industry Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion Center and the grid co-sponsored the 2006 “China’s core,” the selection of activities, while the subsequent meeting of the 2006 “China Chip” technology and the development of the General Assembly, compared to the international brand of China’s chip industry, the development of preheating.

It is reported that national “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” and the related science and technology planning regarded the development of the semiconductor industry as a major national “Eleventh Five-Year” Plan for major projects identified in 16 subjects, there are two related and integrated circuits. “Eleventh Five-Year” period, the State will pass on the semiconductor industry, in-depth planning, and further enlarge the scale industries, enhance the independent innovation capability, the formation of enterprises as the mainstay of the innovation system. To apply as a guide, designed to focus on accelerating the development of special equipment and instruments.

It can be said, IC design industry is a leader in the development of the semiconductor IC industry to stimulate the coordinated development of China’s IC industry, and the “China Chip” this brand of “Seal” will be an important outcome of China’s IC industry, “logo . ”

What is “Chinese-core”

“China’s core” is a huge national brand identity, is China’s nearly 500 IC design companies design products in miniature. Participate in the “China Chip” selection activities, enterprises need to meet the two conditions, one in the People’s Republic of registration; second of its technical and management team, the main need is Chinese, that is both revenue and personnel training should be right China’s IC industry contribute to the development.

At present, the “China’s core” in embedded processors, network communications, multimedia processors, have made breakthroughs in such areas, in a growing number of handheld devices, network equipment and digital audio and video products that can feel the “China-core “pulse.

To better service to Chinese semiconductor integrated circuit industry, to expand the “China-core” concept to raise awareness of China’s chip industry, intellectual property and brand awareness, Ministry of Information Industry Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion Center (CSIP) jointly held a joint in the grid 2006 “China Core “Technology and Development Conference and the” China-core “Selection awards ceremony. The 2006 “China’s core,” selected out of the award-winning chips, is made prominent contributions to China’s IC industry, some companies and some of the products, is a typical representative of a number of integrated circuit products, but also on behalf of China’s IC industry’s top level of the design .

The “China Chip” selection of products covers the elected controller chip LCD driver (LCD Driver IC), GSM / GPRS handset chips to accelerate the sensors, image processing chips embedded notebook computers, portable multimedia audio and video processor (MP3 chip), digital audio and video processing chips, telecom cards, fully integrated single-chip dual-mode RF chip, high-speed 32-bit embedded CPU chip and single-port HDMI receiver chip 10 areas, representing China in recent years, the hottest product areas, including the preparation of multimedia beverage processors, notebook computers embedded image processing chips and other products have been in the international market has a significant impact. This “China Chip” selection will be dedicated to creating focal areas of China’s chip brand, and the “China Chip” also will star in the world chip market.

Development of China’s core: Intellectual Property Strategy is the key

The development of domestic industry, the core CPU, we must attach importance to intellectual property rights. Today’s world, intellectual property protection has become the world’s semiconductor industry issues of common concern. In this regard, should be independent R & D and technology imports combine full use of existing IP licensing and the use of a permit, pay attention to the accumulation of its own IP and patents.

At present, innovation has become an important strategy for the development of Chinese science and technology. In this one, IC industry as electronic information industry base and the core of a direct impact on China’s electronic information industry development trend. From China promulgated the “Document Number 18″ encourage the development of software and integrated circuit industries, the Chinese IC industry, especially the IC design industry has made great progress. China’s IC design industry in 2000 sales of 9.8 billion, to 2005, has grown to 124 billion yuan, an average annual growth rate of 76.84%. In 2005, China’s IC production of more than 20 billion total sales break through 70 billion yuan, accounting for 4.5% of total global sales. “Tenth Five-Year” period, China’s IC industry output value of average annual growth of 41%, the size of the domestic IC market is growing very fast. IC design industry in 2005, the proportion of the whole industry from 2000 to 5.3% in 2005 to 17.7%.

In 2006, more rapid development of China’s IC industry, the year, sales will exceed 100 billion mark. IC from January to September this year alone, the whole industry realized sales income of 73.449 billion yuan, up 49.2%; output reached 27.415 billion, an increase of 45.8%. According to IC Insight analysis, China’s semiconductor market in 2002 ~ 2008 annual compound growth rate will reach 27.7% in 2006, the Chinese market will be larger than the United States. IC manufacturing industries in which rapid growth in 2003 and 2004 revenue growth foundry in Mainland China for nearly tripled, to 2009, annual sales will reach about 3.76 billion U.S. dollars. According to semiconductor market research firm DatabeansInc data, by 2009, China’s IC consumption will account for 25% of the world, reaching 690 billion U.S. dollars.

On the status quo, the current most of the core chip technology is also controlled by the United States, while in research and development require long-term sustained investment into the opportunity for the success of the play a crucial role. For example, South Korea in the late 80s, the demand on the explosive growth of storage a few years ago into the DRAM field, was a success. On the current development of the chip market in terms of global market, 3G communications chip is a new growth point of Chinese enterprises can achieve technological breakthroughs if it is possible to gain market recognition.

Intellectual property rights barriers does not exclude the participation of newcomers, as long as compliance with its rules of the game can not only achieve market success, but also can stimulate the development of core industries. This can refer to the experience of South Korea’s Samsung Electronics.

Samsung mobile phones in a large number of chips from Qualcomm. For Qualcomm, Samsung, its largest customer, the largest competitor, the largest partner. Samsung with 10 years of time and successfully from a pure IP licensing Qualcomm’s customers to develop into its competitor, Qualcomm eventually be accepted as partners and co-owner of certain technology.

“When we pay for the use of a technology licensing time-consuming, and technology on the owner of the establishment of the customer relationship, the customer relationship may actually be a bargaining chip, allowing technology owners ‘then a legislator’.” Samsung Semiconductor China sales says.

Some people worry about sea sickness on vacation cruises or seminar cruises, but you don’t need to be concerned.

Don’t Go By Past Events

Some of our cruise seminar customers assume they will be sea sick because they were sick on a previous boating excursion. Remember that the bigger the boat, the smoother the ride. Cruise ships are exceedingly large. Most are longer than a football field and their length and huge weight makes them very stable. They do not rock like smaller ships. Also, modern cruise ships have stabilizers and other devices that make the ride much more smooth than the sea. Just because you got sick in a small boat does not mean you will be sick on a huge cruise ship. Also, sea sickness is temporary.

Not only does it only occur on the few days you will be on board that have high winds and seas, but the more you sail, the less you will be bothered. Many people get their “sea legs” in just a day or two.

Smooth Sailing

Choose a cruise itinerary that is in sheltered waters. We do all our group cruises in the Caribbean Sea which is a sheltered area, Canada/New England which mostly hugs the coast for shelter and the Alaska inside passage. Avoid itineraries like crossing the Atlantic, the Alaska outside passage and open waters until you have your sea legs.

Prevention Techniques

If you do begin to feel sea sick, do not start at fixed points on the ship or the horizon. Also, do not look through binoculars as this can cause the problem. Don’t stare at fixed items or stare down long corridors. The more you look around, the better you will feel. Eat light and non greasy foods.

Cures For Sea Sickness

There are many things you can do to cure sea sickness if it occurs. Ask any bar tender on board, they all have their favorite cures. Eating ginger will help. You can ask for ginger. There are also ginger pills you can take. There are elastic bands that cure sea sickness. They gently press a plastic dome into your wrist. It is an acupressure cure and it works well with some people. These “Sea Bands” are available in the ship gift shop and at drugs stores in most areas.

There are over the counter remedies that work well such as Bonine or Dramamine. I take half a pill when I need it and it cure my sea sickness without making me too drowsy.

There are also prescription patches that fit behind the ear that cure sea sickness.

There are doctors on board who will help. Use the phone system to contact the medical staff and they will look after you.

Don’t let a fear of sea sickness keep you from enjoying a cruise and seminar. You probably won’t have it and if you do, there are lots of ways to cure or minimize it.

There’s an epidemic sweeping the world in today’s technologically enhanced world. And it is affecting our children at an alarming rate.

Kids just do not get outdoors anymore. The Nature Conservancy and other organizations have produced studies that show that all of us, and especially children, are drastically reducing the amount of time spent with outside activities in favor of television, movies, Net surfing and video games.

A Kaiser Family Foundation study said that children spend 6.5 hours of quality time daily with electronic equipment. Another study put children aged 6 to 11 in front of the TV or a computer screen 30 hours a week on average.

While some time with electronic gadgets isn’t so bad, consider this: if children do not make a connection with nature at an early age, they may never do so. And that is a frightening fact that can have major implications for our environment as the younger set grows into adulthood.

There is no denying that a Wii, Playstation or cool cell phone will certainly be drooled over gifts this Christmas, but it might be a good idea to balance those desires with gifts designed to get children introduced to the outdoors. Here are a few ideas to jump start that thinking:

Something with wheels. A new bike, rollerblades, scooter, skateboard, wheeled shoes. The outdoors doesn’t have to be the deep woods or a quiet pasture. Cruising down the sidewalk or up the road is a good start.

Binoculars. A good set is not very expensive and opens up a new world outside.

Telescope. Also fairly inexpensive for a starter set and one look at the surface of the Moon, the rings of Saturn or Jupiter’s moons may just be enough to get them interested for a long time to come.

Fishing rod and some tackle. Fishing gear comes in all different sizes, even kid-sized. Throw in some tackle, lures and a box to hold it all and you could introduce those children to a lifelong passion.

Kites. Name your price range and you are likely to find a kite to match. Remember how much fun it was to catch a breeze running and feel the tug of the wind on your string? What child could resist?

Night vision goggles. Believe it or not, they are available for under fifty bucks at some large department stores and they let kids see up to fifty feet in total darkness. How awesome is that?

A sled. It won’t take much snow to make a sled go. They come in all kinds of shapes and sizes and there are few kids on the planet who wouldn’t jump at the chance to fly down a hill on a sled.

Inexpensive digital camera. Some of the lower megapixel models have gotten very affordable as higher end models saturate the market. It’s an electronic device, but one that can be used outside to capture all kinds of bugs, birds, or maybe you sledding down a hill. All right, so they will have to upload the pictures to MySpace or Facebook later on, but at least they spent time outside taking the shots.

A canteen. Hiking, biking or just walking to a friend’s house can work up a thirst and it’s good to stay hydrated.

Backpack. Great for stuffing a take along lunch, snacks and gear for a long hike outdoors.

Net and a bug jar. For the younger ones, but a great way for kids to find out about bugs and stuff.

So put down the remote, turn off the computer, step away from the couch and get outdoors. Explore. Breathe. Relax. And feel good about introducing children to nature and to their own backyards.

oh and this story take place in a made up world….
THANKS SOOO MUCH!:)

It was the night of all nights. I remember it well. The theater was brightly lit by dozens of chandeliers far above our heads. The show was supposed to be spectacular. One of the best grand old Anastasia Theater had seen yet. Written by an old friend of mine, Mitchum Percy. He was the second of the two reasons I was there that night. And not one of the reasons for which I stayed. Reviews of Mitchum’s show, Voices of the Rain, were coming in as five stars. Far from where I had first met Mitchum, in a bar not too far from the hellhole of a University I attended for several years. The second reason I was here was on account of the begging of my younger sister Jenette and her friend Martha. They had needed an escort to the theater; unwed girls under the ages of 14 were not to be in public unaccompanied.
We took our seats in the left wing as the show began and the lights dimmed. The rich red curtains parted and I thanked my lucky stars that there were two wings in the theater. It bought me more time. Hardly any. Just until intermission. Then I would have to face the Duke and Duchess of Skylin. Or as Jenette and I called them, mother and father.
“Thanks again Matty,” Jenette whispered in my ear, her warm little hand, at least little compared to my own, came to rest on my knee and her eyes hooked onto the first actor to appear on stage. Anastasia Theater was built perhaps three hundred years after this land had been discovered and conquered by a Plute explorer. Its ceiling was carved out of fine dark wood and came swirling down like an odd version of the chandeliers, though without candles. Small white crystals studded the swirling wood and images of the goddess Lor and her sister Diane encircled them. Long and large stain glass windows of blue and gold where the only evidence of a world outside the cinema. The red velvet seats sat over 2,000 audience members, all sold out for tonight’s show.
Bellow the people were watching as the starring role argued with a young man. About what I only hoped to hear. Time flew, intermission came closer and closer. I barely caught the story, music, or faces which made up the play. I wondered if Jen would tell me what I missed if I asked, or if she would simply scold me for drifting. Jenette and Martha laughed at a piece of dialogue and I casually arched my neck, with my binoculars pressed to my face, and peered into the right wing. The Duke and Duchess of Skylin sat up straight in their seats. My mother had her own binoculars held to her eyes, whilst my father seemed uninterested in the whole thing. His only motive for coming to the show was for his reputation. The Duke mixed in with the common people; he is just like everyone else. That was the real show, the real act. Those who believed my father’s masked actions where those who didn’t see that he sat far away from the common people and armed bodyguards stationed themselves every few feet of the man.
Even though I had been waiting for it since the start I was surprised when the lights finally brightened signaling intermission. The girls rose and stretched, long dresses, white on my sister and blue on Martha, stayed tight to their bodies.
“Matty,” Jenette urged, tugging on the sleeve of my suit. She and Martha pulled me out of the left wing, into the balcony, down the stairs and out the doors towards the lobby. Anastasia Theater’s lobby was nowhere near as impressive as its stage, but it still had that historical glow of elegance. I waited patiently as Jen met our parents at the bottom of the stairs opposite the ones we had come down. Father actually smiled as he embraced my sister. If it weren’t for her I don’t think I would have in my existence have seen him with a trace of human in his character.
Of course it wouldn’t be fitting that the Duke’s smile so much as lingered on his face when he saw me approaching him. I stood behind Jen, hands lightly on her shoulders, trying to look tall and proud. My father was an alarming 6’5 and considered himself royalty due to the fact that the real royalty, the king and queen if Plute, where an ocean away. Difficult was the word for trying to appear tall and proud in front of Duke Danforth.
“Matthew,” he greeted, strictly business like with a hint of personal hostility. My mother, who I was sure at some point in my life had actually liked me for a while, did not say a word. Did not even look at me, just at my father. The expression on her face asking her husband not to start this now. What rumors had they heard? I lied earlier. There were three reasons I attended the play that night. The third was to tell my parents that I wanted to quit school. It held about as much interest for me as the play did father. But I knew there were rumors going around as to why. I had heard a few. One said that I had gambled away the money to pay for school. An
